GTGD S1 is now on Steam. Of course you don't need to buy the package to follow S1. The main advantage of it is that it includes a project folder for each video which will make debugging easier and allow you to pull apart my project for faster learning if you're short on time.

GTGD S1 has been Greenlit! Thanks everyone for the support! I'm currently figuring out how to package S1 for Steamworks.

Here are two snapshots of my current project. I've currently got ship controls, firing cannons, damage application and explosions all working, but I have tons of work more to do. My next main hurdle will be learning / figuring out how to implement suitable AI for the pirate ships. I intend for this game to be an action packed single player game.
